The 2024 UGA Dance Company Spring Faculty and Guest Artist Concert will be presented by the University of Georgia Department of Dance on April 11th and 12th at 8 p.m. and April 13th at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. The concert will be held in the New Dance Theatre at the Dance Building on Green Street off of Sanford Drive.

Featuring faculty and guest artist choreography, the concert includes a diverse array of dance genres that are representative of the coursework we offer within the AB degree in dance. Dance majors and minors have the opportunity to perform in genres including aerial, Afrofusion, ballet, ballroom, contemporary modern, hip hop, jazz, pointe, tap, and West African. The concert also features choreography on students by guest artist Jillian Mitchell, artistic director of Kit Modus, with a special performance by the company. This diverse line up is always an audience favorite and has something for everyone!

Tickets are on sale now at the Performing Arts Center and Tate Center box offices, by phone at 706-542-4400 and online below. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour before each performance, however, advance purchase is strongly recommended. Free parking is available in lots adjacent to the UGA Department of Dance after 5:00 p.m., or at the South Campus Parking Deck next to the Georgia Center for Continuing Education for a fee.
